A true cactus, this plant is actually not a palm at all. This plant with the serious spines can grow up to 4-6 feet indoors. It has been known to bloom in the winter and is a truly unique addition to any houseplant collection.

 

Note: Sizes are indicative of pot size, not plant size. For example: 4" pot means that the plant will come in a 4" tall by 4" wide plastic nursery pot.

Cactus - Madagascar Palm

  • -Brightness: Bright direct sunlight. 

    -Sun Exposure: Direct light. Full sun ideal.

    -Water: Water when top half of soil is dry, but do not let dry out completely. Make sure your container has drainage holes to avoid root rot.

    -Humidity: Normal to dry. Think of a desert.
